PFAS Chemical Free
To achieve liquid resistance, InsideOut Performance Fabrics® uses a finish that contains NO PFAS Chemicals (also known as “forever chemicals”). InsideOut Performance Fabrics® never used PFAS chemicals to achieve a higher level of performance, however PFAS chemicals were prevalent in textile manufacturing for many recent years. Studies around the effects of PFAS chemicals are still being explored, but studies suggest there may be health and environmental health concerns linked to them.
